Professor Ksenija Dumičić, PhD

Professor Dumičić is a tenured professor at the Department of Statistics at the University of Zagreb’s Faculty of Economics and Business. As one of the leading academicians in the region in the field of survey design, sampling methods, business forecasting and statistical quality control, Dumičić has also thought courses at the Survey Research Center of the Institute for Social Research, University of Michigan (USA), as well as at the TES, University of Southampton (UK).

Dumičić has overseen over a dozen professional and scientific research projects in the fields of applied statistical research, sponsored by UN organisations (WHO, UNICEF) and EU organisations and grants, as well as by Croatian Science Foundation, Ministry of Sciences of the Rep. of Croatia, and University of Zagreb, Croatia.

She is an Elected Member of the International Statistical Institute (ISI), International Association of Survey Statisticians (IASS), International Association on Statistical Education (IASE), and Women in Statistics Committee (WSC) of the ISI, and a member of the Royal Statistical Society (RSS).

Dumičić is also the Chief Editor of the Croatian Review of Economic, Business and Social Statistics (CREBSS), the President of the newly founded Croatian Statistical Association (CSA), and a chief organizer of the International Statistical Conference in Croatia (ISCCRO).
