ICOS2017: Challenges, Opportunities and Future Directions in Official Statistics | March 30-31, 2017 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina
We are delighted to announce the inaugural international conference on official statistics that aims to bring together academia and practitioners from South East Europe and the world to share their research, good practice and discuss exciting avenues for enhanced use of official statistics for sustainable development. The first conference taking place on 30 and 31 March 2017 will host some of the leading academics from the United States, European Union and the South East Europe.
We hope this event will become a biennial gathering that will attract scientists and practitioners from many countries and disciplines to present their research, discuss opportunities and challenges that official statistics is facing, and pave the path for development and modernization of the field, while inspiring and attracting new generations to engage in this exciting work in the era of the global data revolution.
